Gidget Update |
|
 Since Westminster, Gidget has continued to win many awards. As of April 30th, she's already had 24 group placements in 2008 and won Best in Show twice: at the York Kennel Club show under Mr. Norman B. Kenney and at the Delaware County Kennel Club show under Mrs. Carole A. Beattie. She also won Best in Specialty Show at the Metropolitan Atlanta Shih Tzu Club on April 17th under Mrs. Kristi Trivilino.

 On Tuesday, February 12th, 2008, Gidget, shown by Diane, won Best of Breed at the prestigious 2008 Westminster Kennel Club dog show while Sammy, shown by Luke, won an Award of Merit. Gidget was selected from the 15 champion Shih Tzu shown in the Best of Breed competition—and she's only 21 months old! The 132nd annual
show, often referred to as "America's Dog Show", was held at Madison Square Garden in New York city. Thank you to judge

More big wins for Sammy! |

On Friday, May 11, 2007 Ch. Hallmark Jolei American Beauty — "Sammy" — won the American Shih Tzu Club National Specialty in Vancouver, Washington and took home the Best Of Breed title for 2007. Special thank you judge Joe C. Walton for this honor!
In addition, Sammy also won Best Of Breed at the American Shih Tzu Club Regional Specialty on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 (thank you to judge Peggy L. Lloyd!) as well as Best Of Breed at the Puget Sound Shih Tzu Fanciers on Saturday May 12, 2007 (thank you to judge Dolly F. Wheeler!)

On Sunday, January 21, 2007, "Sammy"
— the newest Hallmark Jolei special — won her first Best In Show at Oakland County Kennel Club. She showed beautifully for Diane, who was very excited to get another BIS of her own. This was only Sammy's eighth time being shown as a special. In her first seven showings, she placed in the group every time: three group firsts, one group second, two group thirds and one group fourth. Thank you to group judge Mr. George Heitzman and BIS judge Mr. Vincent Grosso!

 Jezebell is the #1 Shih Tzu for the second year in a row!
In 2006, Jezebell won two BIS's, 17 group firsts, 24 group seconds, 19 group thirds and 12 group fourths, defeating a total of 13,554 other dogs in competition. (These figures are compiled by the American Kennel Club and are based on licensed and member club dog shows across the U.S.)
