Andy's first dog show as a "special" was in Denver, on Friday, February 16, 2001 at the Plum Creek Kennel Club Of Colorado -- where he won Best In Show! In his inaugural season, Andy had 28 Best In Show wins and 93 Group Firsts, defeating 53,518 dogs in competition. He was the #1 Shih Tzu, #2 Toy dog and the #6 dog of all breeds his "warmup" year.

In 2002, Andy eclipsed his amazing first year by winning 51 Best In Shows and establishing a new record for the Toy group with 124 Group First wins, defeating 76,931 dogs in the ring. He again ended the year as the #1 Shih Tzu, moved up a notch to the #1 Toy dog... and all the way to the #2 position for all breeds!

On May 31, 2003 at the Toledo Kennel Club dog show, Andy broke another record, becoming the Shih Tzu with the most Best In Show wins -- a record previously held by Andy's father, Joey.

Andy is owned by Gilbert Kahn of Charing Cross, and was conditioned and presented exclusively by Luke.
